My students are full of energy, ambition and eager to learn. They enjoy listening to music (sometimes rap, sometimes classical) while working on intense math problems. We do a lot of practice because we know "the only way to LEARN math is to DO math!" They particularly like to work together to tackle difficult problems and get very excited every time they conquer another amazing math problem. Almost all of my students are involved in some extracurricular activity, such as the band, football, volleyball, jobs, and many more. They are able to manage their lives in and out of school very well. Although, math has been a struggle for a lot my students they remain positive and try!
