We are a California Title 1 school, and we have many students that come to us from different countries--India, the Philippines, Vietnam, Mexico, Afghanistan, etc. We take pride in having a diverse school that is welcoming of all cultures! We need to provide them the opportunity to learn English and have access to a great education. A listening center would help our English Learners, and even our English speakers, hear fluency and expression. When they can't read the words yet, they would be able to listen and develop the story by connecting their listening to the words in the book. Please welcome international students by helping us provide them with resources that will help them make an easier transition to an American school!
