I teach sixth, seventh, and eighth grade art students -about 170 a day. Also, I teach art to the special needs students. Our middle school has about 800 students and has a varied mixture, about 50% are African American, 40% Caucasian, and 10% other ethic backgrounds. We also have several refugee families that do not speak English at all and they love art.
