Our elementary school students get so excited about science when they get to participate in the science fair hosted by our high school. Having a printer and supplies to make creative and appealing display boards gives them a sense of enthusiasm and pride in their work that is displayed for the community to see.
Students throughout our school from K-5 will be utilizing the supplies. The pump will allow for an aquaponics project that a fourth grade class will be doing together gaining a deep understanding and appreciation for the science involved in aquaponics. Most of our students will be doing individual science projects. The prizes are given to those individuals who deserve special recognition for their excellent work.
All of our students will be going to the science fair to view projects that range from K-12 grades. Many community members will also be coming through the science fair to view and recognize some of the projects. This is an opportunity for our students to truly showcase their creativity and scientific exploration.
