Many of my students are unable to purchase school supplies on their own, receiving these supplies will ensure that my students always have essential items, such as pencils, markers, book boxes and notebooks. This project will also fund classroom books meant for read alouds that reflect the diversity of my students. It is important that our children see themselves reflected in the literature we teach and provide them with. My students need read aloud books that feature multicultural children and diverse families. This project will also fund multicultural crayons and construction paper so that my students can complete art projects featuring themselves, their friends and their families.

About my class
