Right now my student have all the tools needed to create traditional artwork. What we haven't been able to achieve is create digital artwork. Digital artwork is needed for a successful AP Art 2D design portfolio. Students have not been able to utilize a platform like the iPad and Apple Pencil, which will allow them to create beautiful and intricate artwork. The artwork that can be created will easily transfer to a computer for final review and submission to the AP digital submission page. An example of the work will be taking a beautiful photograph with the iPad then utilizing the Apple Pencil to create a drawing directly on the photo, creating a digitized mixed media piece of artwork.
