Many of my theatre students are looking forward to hands-on opportunities to learn about tools and construction. The cordless drill set will allow us greater opportunity to learn practical skills, safety in the shop and have more autonomy in set builds. The cordless drill is the essential scene shop and set building tool. The skills learned in a theatre will often transfer to small home repairs and even help students identify career interests. As we work cooperatively to build sets, students learn to verbalize and defend design choices, acknowledge strengths and weaknesses in design, and put their best foot forward in production... all while having a safe, positive experience in the performing arts.
