"Why can't we do gymnastics?" I've heard this for the last 2 years as a Physical Education Teacher. As a former gymnast and coach, I know the benefits of learning how to tumble but when I took over the job all I had was a couple of playground balls. I only receive $150 to purchase items and with the recent hurricane that devastated our community, obtaining gymnastic mats is out of reach. Gymnastics teaches not only great body management but strength, flexibility, and balance. Being exposed to gymnastics will make my students achieve success in every sport they attempt. In addition to using the mats for tumbling, there are so many great games that I can incorporate into my lessons. I teach PE in an outside space so every day I have to set up and take down any equipment I use. Having the mat mover will assist me in my daily set up. Please help me get this equipment so my students can be exposed to this sport!
