My project will purchase individual headphones for all students in my classroom to listen to videos created by myself and my colleagues using the EdPuzzle software. This software allows teachers to create instructional videos that support the lessons that have been taught to the students and further reinforce their understanding of concepts. The program allows for teachers to embed questions within the videos to check for understanding while watching the video. Because there are multiple components to my lessons, by donating to our classroom project, you will be helping to improve and increase student focus during class time. A portion of each lesson involves watching videos. Some students choose to watch videos during class time rather than at home, and without headphones, can cause unintentional distractions to fellow students. If students had option to use headphones, it would allow for their focus (and their classmate's focus) to increase, thus improving scores academically, as well. I have asked for a container to house the headphones as well to prevent damage.
