Since we currently do not have a STEM curriculum in my school, an after school club is a perfect way to introduce students to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math activities. Students will be engaged by creating projects, such as building a trebuchet or creating a stable, sturdy egg drop parachute. The items we have requested will supplement our supplies for the STEM activities. My students are craving the hands-on approach this club will provide. The club will offer a scientific method to the activities so students will utilize a plan, produce, and assess their approach. Also, students will learn through trial and error while engaging in STEM activities.
