Our students are all unique and bring a diverse culture into our kindergarten classroom. With over 30% of our student population consisting of English Language Learners, we embrace the culture, ethnicity, and language of each student and strive to reach each student academically and socially. Our classroom is a culturally relevant space that embraces each student as the whole child; all children are learning the fundamentals of school and several students are learning the English language as well. In addition, our school is located in an urban neighborhood within the city of Pittsburgh, primarily serving students from a low socio-economic status.
