Students in grades 6-8 have lots of energy and enthusiasm for science. They have grown up using computers, communicating online, comfortable with technology in their hands. Many are fluent in the use and application of many of today's digital tools. We as educators need to use these same tools of the 21st Century by incorporating them into our teaching and learning. Our students are in a high performing district and need to be challenged further; technology can provide the tools to help meet that challenge and help them practice skills they will be required to use as they continue in school and, someday, in the work force.

About my class
