These two TVs will open doors to our students in Physical Education. We will be able to better apply the FFL Core Standard 3.2 "Analyze and apply technology and social media as tools to support a healthy, active lifestyle." and 3.12 "...using available technology to self-monitor aerobic intensity." We can show coded HR for each student on the TV. We can analyze exercise form and technique in new ways. As a part of our end-of-unit project, we plan to create student workout plans and do exercise promotion videos. I want my students to understand PE can be mixed with technology, and that knowledge could make all the difference in their health choices throughout their life.
