I have been a gifted resource teacher working with grades 2-5 and this fall I will be going back into the classroom for the first time in four years. I am so excited to have this opportunity to go back into the classroom. This is where I need your help. Our school has an elementary math and science academy housed in our building for grades 3-5. Science and math are a huge focus for students in our school. We have a wonderful science lab; however, many of our materials are consumable or limited to the 700+ students in our school. As a classroom teacher I want to provide multiple opportunities for my students to have inquiry based instruction. I am utilizing this program to assist in the cost of building a classroom that is innovative, unique, and will prepare students for the 21st century skills necessary to prepare them for the workforce.
