I teach a group of 24 ethnically and socio-economically diverse 1st graders. They speak multiple languages and represent cultures from across the globe. What they have in common, though, is an eagerness to learn and curiosity about the world around them. As with most children this age, if they can touch and handle the objects they are trying to learn about they are infinitely more engaged in the process of learning.

About my class

I teach a group of 24 ethnically and socio-economically diverse 1st graders. They speak multiple languages and represent cultures from across the globe. What they have in common, though, is an eagerness to learn and curiosity about the world around them.
