This project would benefit all fourth grade students in our distict in the 2021-2022 school year. Each student would get their own ukulele building kit. They can paint and create their ukulele in art class, and then string and play them in music class! It's a great opportunity to not only give the students their own instrument, but to take them through the entire process of building and playing an instrument. Every fourth grade student in our district would leave with an instrument to take home that they not only created with their own two hands, but that they have also learned how to play. They would also be able to practice their ukulele at home, which is something that has not been possible before in our program.

About my class
