I am fortunate to teach Physical Education to every Pre-K through 5th grade student at my school (approx. 410 students). Being with such a great group of energetic kids each day is the best reminder to keep the fun in fitness. Adults call it "working out," kids call it "playing." Ours is a Title I school, with most students receiving free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch and many are limited to resources for extracurricular exercise. This makes our time together even more meaningful through healthy living activities and to also support their education as a whole. "A healthy body, a healthy mind."
