Our class has two desktop computers for the students to use to practice their reading and math skills. With the addition of three tablets with keyboards, students will strengthen their phonics and number knowledge by getting the chance to work with technology during class time. Special needs students often respond better in the classroom when they are able to use technology. Three additional tablets will allow for more students to develop their skills independently. My students will be able to use learning sites such as Abcya, Starfall, and Coolmathgames in addition to using the online version of our school curriculum. As their skills develop, so will their confidence!
