My students crush challenges emotionally, socially, and educationally on a daily basis. I am a special education teacher for students with mild to moderate disabilities, including autism, ADHD, brain injuries, and other learning disabilities. I have amazing students who work very hard to achieve positive results at school. They work hard to socialize with others, stay focused and participate in the classroom, and learn new content daily. My students will be tomorrow's hikers who climb Mount Everest, astronauts who make it to the moon, and possibly one of our United State's presidents. We've got grit.
