We love to do story time on the floor. Carpet would make it possible to gather on the floor and share with each other in a less restrictive setting. Each child can have their own color square on the carpet so as not to interfere with each others personal space. A carpet would give my children more comfortable options for learning. We spend lots of time on the floor. At center time, they have room to spread there projects, games, or manipulatives out. During group time we have a place that we can collect to share and learn. Carpet would make a great addition to our classroom.
