Chromebooks give students access to so many things! This will give my students an opportunity to access books read aloud (to help in learning to read and English Language Development), learning tools (to help learn sounds, phonemic awareness, numbers, shapes etc.), access to online classroom platforms (to be able to use talk to text feature for writing or record their own story to show understanding, make their own projects), share their learning with their parents and so much more! With this new Chromebook, students will be one step closer in accessing learning to help them at all their varying levels and continue to help spark their passion for learning and sharing with their community. These are amazing kids who are not afforded all the luxuries in life and many are economically disadvantaged and school is a place where they have access to technology to enhance their learning. Technology is a part of our world and I would like to use this technology to help them learn and make meaningful connections with their work and with others in a positive way.
