On level, high interest books allow our students the freedom to choose many books to read in class or take home. First grade is such an important grade where they are not just learning to read, but also increasing the most reading levels in a single school year. They work so hard every day in guided reading groups, on iStation, and in their independent and group work. I want to have many books that are of high interest to foster a love for reading and promote life long learning <3 By donating to this project you can be a part of growing these students into amazing readers!

About my class
