I am a fifth grade writing teacher. I have learned that students learn in many different ways. When given the choice, most of my students chose to move out of their uncomfortable seats and onto the floor, where they are less confined. I would love to be able to have several different seating options for my students to chose from, so they can focus on learning instead of being uncomfortable in their chair. My hope is that they will be able to concentrate more on their writing when they are able to chose a seat that is comfortable for them.
