Hi! Welcome to my project! All of the materials needed will enhance my kindergarten classroom! Our painting easel is falling apart and a new easel will enable children to create and make projects. Four children at a time will be able to paint which means this easel will be accessible to more children in a given time period than an easel that only allows two children at one time. The teaching easel will be accessible and used by all students as we learn to read and write. Students often come up to participate in Interactive Writing and to demonstrate skills acquired. A label maker will allow me to label items in the classroom and promote literacy. Children will learn reading skills by reading names and objects. With a diverse classroom, multicultural art materials are a must and will help students choose and identify materials they feel is best for them. Thank you for your consideration in this project!
