My students need Chromebooks to complete in class assignments.I know by incorporating technology in my class, the students will develop rigor. Students will be using the Chromebooks each day which will truly support student development of a deep understanding of mathematical relationships and mathematical structure – allowing us to focus more on conceptual knowledge and problem solving. Waiting to get a turn on the computer can cause anxiety and frustration which makes learning difficult! The pupils struggle with paper based material and the use of the Chromebook will provide a more rapid entertaining pace. The Chromebooks will provide many apps and District approve websites, such as I-Ready Math, Sum dog math, and Reflex-math. These math programs will enhance the students academically. Students will also use the Chromebooks to take weekly quiz and chapter assessment. By using the Chromebooks students will become more motivated to increase their mathematical skills.
