The insect kits will give my students hands on experiences with insects from their environment. They will get the chance to research details on these insects in the bug-pedia. In addition, they will get the chance to use the Chromebook to write and digitally present the information about their insects. The Chromebook will also allow my students to present to a global audience. The items I have requested will allow my students to succeed inside the classroom and outside in nature. Studying specimens found in our schoolyard will allow students the opportunity to collaborate and explore our habitat. It has been proven that spending time outside has many positive effects. I hope to bring my students outside to study insects in order to feel these positive benefits.
