The use of the Little Scholar Mini from School Zoned can be incorporated into our daily activities here in pre-K. The tablet has preloaded apps already installed that are all educational based and geared to ages 3-8. This is perfect for my young learners to get the additional focused help with alphabets, letter recognition, early math, reading and writing skills. This technology choice will be used during our daily center time. Adding these tablets as a center not only helps my students. It allows me to work in smaller groups and focus more on the interest and abilities of my children. As a result, it also gives me a better chance to help strengthen children's understanding of certain concepts. Your charitable donation to our project will help improve our classroom by building a strong foundation for my young learners . Having these tablets and a comfy seating spot as a choice during centers help to take limits off of my young learners experiences with language and literacy. Seeing that a tablet can be used to help enhance learning in a fun way can open up their minds to the use of technology in their learning. These tablets will be a great extension to our Pre-K classroom. Features such as progress reports helps to track my students progress in real-time. This feature is very important and helpful to me because I can use the data to inform instruction. Ultimately allowing me to better meet my students academic needs.
