When students enter third grade, they are reading to learn. They start reading more indepentently and develop skills to improve their comprehension. I want my students to be passionate about reading. By providing my students with engaging resources, I am certain it will enhance their reading skills. The resources I have listed will be used in small group centers and are geared to the third grade standards. They are hands on and engaging for indepentent readers, while allowing the students to grow as a reader and boosting their comprehension skills.
