My classroom is full of students that love to learn, although they struggle academically. Many students are low readers, some more than two levels below their grade. I have a high majority of English learners as well as students that are socioeconomically disadvantaged. Student home life has a strong impact on their school life and can make or break whether a student is successful or not.
