Coming back from devastating hurricane Irma has been a monumental challenge. Our school has learned it will take small steps to reach the ultimate goal of a fully rebuilt school and playground. Kindergarten's next small step is to resupply our lost art and science materials such as paint, all kinds of paper and a Wonderforms classroom kit. We have successfully replaced the destroyed books, furniture and core curriculum. Things are looking good, but what is a kindergarten classroom without paint, craft projects and hands on science experiments? Not fun. Kids love creating! They will clamor to explore a magnetic center or design their own art. Together in education and together we are #KeysStrong.
