Many of my students have few or no books at their house. My wish is to instill my love of reading in each of them. In order to keep up with reading while school is not in session, it is important for all students to have books at home. I would love to give them each books of their very own for Christmas this year. As a little girl, my teacher gave us each a book for Christmas and I thought it was the most magical thing. To be able to pay that forward now to my own students will be such a treat for me as well as them.
