Our school has already seen the difference having accessible technology can make. As we try to develop our STEM model, it is essential to have adequate resources for the students to receive realistic experience in the fields. Many of our students do not have access to technology, like these computers, outside of school. In the age of smartphones, tablets, and laptops, it is widely considered to be a universal right to have access to the internet. Students must acquire skills with technology in order to be considered quality candidates for many jobs and universities. For schools specifically, the resources available through the internet vastly improve the possibilities in the classroom. With improved access to tools like scientific simulations, document sharing clients, and research possibilities, among others, students can amplify their educational experience and prepare themselves for our technological world.
