I have created this project with the hope of presenting more opportunity for kids to play different games and experience more sports related activities. I want to introduce these children to a wide variety of movement based games that challenge them as well as help keep them active. With the addition of new equipment like soccer balls, basketballs, footballs, battle ropes, and beanbag toss games I would be able to expand our programs greatly. I want to increase the chances of these kids discovering the joy and benefits of being active through games, sports, and other activities. I feel like it is very important to introduce kids to a wide variety of sports related activities along with the health benefits that can come from that lifestyle. It seems to me that the more things a child can experience, the more they can decide what they really enjoy doing. We now live in a time when a lot of the youth today is being raised to entertain themselves by sitting down and interacting with a screen in front of them. I want to encourage kids to get up, get out, and move!
