You can just imagine how 21 5year-olds chatting away while using their chrome books, can easily become social hour. I would like for my scholars to be able to independently focus on their tasks of working on Literacy and Math skills while using their chrome books with headphones. Often times, I walk around the classroom to observe students and offer assistance while they are on their chrome books and notice students who are struggling to focus because they can hear the volume from other students. Like many districts, Literacy and Math are critical content areas for students to master and so we utilize computers as a supplement during our center time where our students can work on content that is specific to their individual learning. The headphones would be an opportunity for the students to concentrate and focus on their content without distraction.
