Having bilingual dictionaries will really help my students to expand their vocabulary. Right now, most of my students don't know how to use a dictionary, but once they learn, it will really improve their vocabulary. It will also help my students who are just learning English. I tell my students everyday that they ARE going to college, so they need to become comfortable using reference books. In teaching writing and reading, the ability to find the meaning of a word is essential. Dictionary usage is a lost skill since everything can be found on the internet. I want to teach my students to be self sufficient, and continuously learn how to learn.
