Our students need more access to technology in the classroom because our classroom currently only has one computer for 21 students. I am requesting 4 laptops for my students to use. The lack of technology limits access to the many useful resources that will increase student learning. Students will use the computers daily in work stations. In addition to daily instruction, students will utilize the computer to access resources such as Imagine Learning and Renaissance 360 to expand their literacy. Technology will positively impact students' lives—specifically the way they think. It will increase reading levels and comprehension skills among many other skills. Students will also be able to conduct independent research. Every child can succeed once they are given the necessary tools to succeed. My students are so deserving, they deserve the best education possible. I will do everything to ensure they get what they need to be successful.
