These supplies will keep restock a lab of limited and outdated equipment to help students prepare for their STEM careers. My students need Bottle Aspirators, Spatula Nickel, Bottle Wash, Spattula Lab-Scoop Style Pack, supplies to do the labs and help them develop skills and prepare for AP classes and University sciences. These supplies will be used to work with preparing solutions of specific molarities and dilutions. They will also be used to study the rates of reactions and how to increase rates for favorable reactions. They will be given different chemical reactions and will have to use the equipment to speed up the reactions (acid reactions and replacement reactions) and even to slow down a reaction using dilution to lower the concentration of acids and other solutions. They will compare these with the normal reactions and then use them to explain how collision theory applies to the different reactions based on concentration, surface area, volume, and temperature Getting hands on practice is crucial to learning in chemistry and better equipment helps them be able to do more leaving activities and practice their skill set. They need labs to help them connect chemistry too the real world, and they can't do that without hands on learning.
