When my students gain confidence in themselves as a reader, writer and as a person, I have done my job. In order to accomplish my goal of accelerating student learning and creating active participants in the classroom, I need engaging books. I currently have some "gaps" in my book collection. I am lacking in book levels 9-11. These materials will help to fill those gaps so that I can better service my students. We are about to begin our "second round" of services. These students will begin reading at levels 5-10. This is where the gaps are in my collection.
