We are a Dual Language classroom of 26 students. The students are full of energy and eager to learn. We set goals at the beginning of the year and displayed them in the classroom. Some students had a goal to read or write in Spanish by the end of the year. Some students said they hope to grow 4 or 5 reading levels by the end of the year. One student said he wanted to be able to talk to his grandma in Spanish. As a magnet school these students come on buses from all corners of the city. We are a proudly diverse classroom! Most students are eligible for free or reduced lunch.

About my class
