Our students love having a book to read for pleasure. They also make connections with the characters in the story and share those connections during our Chat & Chew book club. Our Chat & Chew club also helps the community through a service project. We empower the students to plan and implement a service project at the completion of our book. We try and connect with the author/illustrator of our selected book, "Wonder". We hear our students talking about the books they are reading with their peers which inspires their friends to read. Chat & Chew book club also gives our students a chance to connect with students outside of their homeroom.

About my class
