My school has 1500 students and no printer for teachers' use for any print jobs under 100 pages. That means that I cannot print any class sets of any engaging projects or hands on work to enhance the curriculum, leave alone the fact that the school does not have a color printer at all. I love to gamify my lessons with my students, because let's face it - my students are 6 years old and no 6 year old wants to learn strictly from the dry curriculum! A printer in our classroom would truly be incredible and allow us to do so much! We can then supplement the material, print differentiated versions of worksheets for students with learning disabilities, produce and publish colorful student work that they can proudly display, and send home information for parents, among many other things.
