Our school is located in historic South Central, Los Angeles. We are hoping to read the Critically Acclaimed book The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas, which takes place in a setting much like our school's. They are interested in learning about the #blacklivesmatter movement as it applies directly to their lives. We want to read the book The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas as a way to start a discussion about both the struggle and the empowerment of being Black in America today. Please help us with 10 more copies of this book to help complete our class set!
