My students are between four and five years old. With them being so young, it is important to deliver instruction in a relatable and engaging manner. My students are always excited and engaged when they have the opportunity to use the computer with our technology teacher. I would use the iPad in the classroom to allow students to have access to educational apps and websites, such as Starfall and ABC Mouse. The iPad will allow the students to practice letter recognition, writing letters, and basic math skills such as counting. As an early childhood teacher, I know how important it is to expose my students to all the learning resources as early as possible. My students are in the primary stages of learning and I would like to provide them with the best opportunities I can. What they do and learn now is the foundation for the years to come. I want to set them up for future success. I want them to enjoy learning and retain the information they are taught.
