My students are highly motivated overachievers. They start life behind the eight ball but strive to better their lives and overcome the struggles and obstacles that hold them back. However, intangibles can only take them so far in life. Unfortunately, when it comes to competitions against more affluent schools my students fall short..not because of effort but because their projects do not how the "wow" factor that color printed projects possess. It's amazing how far a tad of color can carry a project. The addition of a color printer to our school/computer lab would enable my students to take that next step up and not only compete but defeat the more affluent schools.

About my class
