I am requesting a pencil sharpener so the students can have sharpened pencils for their writing. Wring is something that I strongly desire to see improve in my students and worrying about broken pencils distracts from them focusing on writing. I also need an easel because we complete many anchor charts during the reading and writing workshops and I am running out of room on my classroom walls. I am fixing up a nice looking reading center and the rug would help out a lot. Everything that I am requesting have to do with improving reading and writing which will help my children become successful. The students like coming to my class, most of the time, and I want to maintain the welcoming atmosphere.
