Students struck by poverty often do not have their basic needs met; it is incredibly challenging to focus on school and to feel safe when kids feel cold and hungry. We are seeking jackets, undergarments, basic toiletries, umbrellas, and non-perishable snacks for students and their families so that when they arrive at school, we are able to support students to feel ready to learn. These basic needs have an immediate impact on their ability to focus, perform and play! Parents do their best with what they have at the time. Our school community is another access point for families in need to find support.

About my class
