Our Library is on it's way up! Even though we haven't had a lot of library funding, if any, in the last several years, we still do fundraisers and do book swaps and many other things to get new, and exciting materials for our Jr. High and High School Students. My overall goal is to create a reading environment that will encourage students and stimulate them to make reading a part of their every day lives. I want to display the books that many have mentioned to me, including teachers and students. I see the students in their English classes on a regular basis. When they come to the library, I dont want them to say, " I can't find anything that looks interesting." I want them to say, "You have that book now? I can't wait to read it!! This is where we need your assistance. While we have such a desire to get these materials into our kid's hands, we lack the necessary funding to do so. We would be very grateful and appreciative to you in this matter. Thank you for taking time to read and assist us in revamping our school libraries!
