These headphones will give my students accessibility to virtual and auditory learning. We use computers, listening centers, and individual CD players during math, reading and writing. During independent reading, the students listen to books on tape.In addition, these headphones will assist English language learners in listening to stories and songs in English. Listening is an important part of acquiring language. Books on tape and academic computer programs give the students the accessibility and exposure needed to learn English. Headphones are also very useful during assessments. Whenever students use headphones to complete an assessment or activity, they show immense growth because the directions can be read to them. To conclude, it is important to modify lessons and activities for English Language Learners. These headphones will make a tremendous impact on their learning.
