My students constantly amaze, inspire, and teach me. They have such unique experiences, perspectives, and insights. I call myself a teacher, but truly I am much more of a learner, always gaining insights from them about anything from how the world can be made better, to how I can change my teaching to better facilitate their intellectual development. I am very optimistic when I consider that these very people will shape our future. But they deserve so much more than what we give them. Our time, our supplies, our technology, even our advice -- all we offer is just in a drop in the bucket when you consider what it takes to be prepared to take on today's world. I am so grateful to my DonorsChoose supporters for empowering us to make that much more of an impact. And more than that, I and my students are so moved to know that you all truly do care about our youth -- about our future. Thank you!!
