A large carpet and some soft bean bag chairs are something my students have requested since day one. I was able to scrounge up a small, dirty and very old carpet for the time being, but would love something bright and cheery! Right now my kiddos have to choose between sitting in their hard plastic chairs or on the cold tile floor (or dirty carpet) and I wish they could have more options. They become so engrossed in their reading but I know they loose focus when they have to adjust and wake up their tingling extremities! I also want to create a book/reading/library type nook for them to retreat to during their read to self time. I would also love to have the bean bag chairs available for those kids that need to change up their seating throughout the day!
